Interlaken, Switzerland
sitting at the foot of some big snowy mountains. it's beautiful here. the hostel I'm at is also a hotel, it's big and has a nice side yard, and a pool and an outdoor bar where I'm told I can get free drinks from 2 to 11pm.
need to call the Hostel in gimmelwald and see what the deal is there. This hostel is really crowded, I had no idea so many people would be around. hopefully Gimmelwald is more low key. Here it is a bunch of kids spending hundreds on skydiving and bungee jumping and hanggliding or whatever, and then they go home. weird. If I can get up to G tomorrow and stay in the hostel there and all, I might just leave.. I can always come back here before leaving the country/area
have 20CHF left from the 100 I took out when I arrived:

5 bread, cheez, soda
20 food- bread, salami, potatoes, wine
5 popcorn and chocolate
oh yeah, plus 10 in change in my pocket. yeah, that evens out.
